總統蔡英文日前正式宣布，94年次役男兵役從4個月改回1年，未來女性是否也納入服兵役行列，此議題引起外界熱議。民進黨立委范雲昨（30）日表示「女人並非不當兵」，並指將會提出相關修法。民眾黨立委邱臣遠今（31）日列出4點回應，強調女性參與兵役的形式可以很多元。

邱臣遠今也於臉書po文列出4點回應，第一點是兵役制度的調整，為了提升全民國防意識及建構完整的國防體系，而「保家衛國，不分軍民、人人有責」的精神，也是當前的全民共識！第二，戰時除了主戰及守備部隊外，國家也需要強大後勤補給，「因此女性參與兵役的形式可以很多元，這部分需要國防部更進一步說明國軍實際的戰備需求，以利後續規劃！」
